UPDATE!!

A factory reset has cured the BT volume. There is now no discernible difference to any other sources tested.

Thanks @JamesFiio

Thanks for posting back.  Its probably a reason why I didn't have any issues.  When I got the tour unit back the first thing I did was clean it out and factory reset it.

No problem. Thanks again, very pleased now it is resolved.
Do you anticipate that a factory reset will be required with each firmware update?

not , it depended on what kind of new features are added.

James, when do you expect to release the balanced amp module?

I am not satisfy with current design so our engineer have to modify the design again, the high power module will be released first. and the balanced module will delay to May.

Have any of you tried connecting to your 5Ghz WiFi to avoid some of the traffic on your 2.4Ghz? I use that at home with my Onkyo so as to avoid the cordless and cell phone traffic in my house. I must admit I wasn't having WiFi issues when I was testing with a Sonos speaker, but I figured it can't hurt to divide the wireless channels up.

Just tried it as instructed, no luck. The noise is still there. No luck either with the bluetooth connection. Changed it to 5ghz and even turned it off, still there. Guest Im going to contact Fiio for this.

Thank you :)
