I found I am not able to rewind or fast forward on some songs only. I did a Factory reset and it still does the same thing until I realize it maybe related to the file size. In my case, smaller files, like 2GB or 3GB files will rewind just fine. Larger than 4GB or so I think, will not be able to rewind/forward. I think it is because of out of range of the data type you used in your code. If you choose to use long(or similar data type) you maybe able to solve the problem.

In your code, if you implement pre-buffer or double buffers, it probably will improve gapless and stuttering problems unless the processor is underpowered which is unlikely. Just my two cents.

Do you really mean GB? I mean a 2GB file is a huge file. If trying to play these and up to/over 4GB files you are simply asking to over tax the system. I think expectations need to be in order if trying to play ridiculously large file sizes.

I am sorry, yes, I mean GB. I record audios at 24/96 for a few hours and that is the final file size. I do not think it is relevant to the system load. You only read a few blocks at a time(flac) and play them back. You are not going to load the whole song. As long as the index pointing to the next block is large enough(like long or long long data type), it should be able to handle it. It is just out of my imaginary and a little bit from my programming background. We may need to keep the thread on the hi-fi related topic, not deviate to programming trouble shooting topics.

Hello, everybody,

is there a functioning Androit alternative on Fiio Marketplace to the Fiio Nativ player in beta 3.0.7?

Hearty thanks

Are you asking for an alternative to the marketplace or the player?

Google play store app is pre installed and has many different media players you can download if that is what you're wondering

Also on side note... data transfer is painstakingly long with this update :,(

Hello fezzyness,

for the Player. in FW 2.0 I try the Hiby Player  which I liked quite well. However, with FW 3.0.7 beta I already get with the download an error message that the player can't be loaded.

Hi, OBA 49ner
According to the feedback from our users, the newest Hiby Player is available in FW3.0.7. We can send the APP which we download from Hiby Music to you if you want it. You can check the PM.

May I put in a feature request?

When in DAC mode:
- Display volume controls on the screen, always visible.
- Or, allow the app to go into background so I can have another volume-control app there to do the job.

On a MAC the volume cannot be controlled by the host, it's controlled on X7. It's a pain to always have to click hardware button to bring up the volume controls everytime I want to adjust it.

Or, is there a proper driver available that would allow macOS to control the volume? I also tried using various middle-man apps to intercept and control volume but they all introduce glitches and spikes to the audio, definitely not a proper solution.

the correct way is to control the volume from the X7, otherwise you would use software-regulated volume control, while it should be hardware controlled.

Having the volume dial on there would be nice.

Hi, frifox
We will report this requirement to our engineers and assess whether it is available to adding this function.

I would like to have multiple tag support and still better with separator that we can choose (',' or ';' for exemple). When we have huge library it's far easer to manage with tag, after you dont have to edit your playlist (dynamic) just adding a tag on you song will add it to your dynamic playlists.

And you could add dynamic playlist that use tags or song's attributes to find what song is in.

It's all the only thing I miss in my X7
