Is there any way to change the master side? I think my master is right side and the battery drains much faster than the left side.
Right side was at 40% and left is 80%
Dear friend,

You could try to put both earplugs back to the charging case, then get the left side out first to see whether it helps?

Best regards

@FiiO any news on the fiio control app to be updated to allow connection with utws3? it's a great pain not able to connect with the current version as i'm also using btr7 & utws5 at the same time so can't just fall back to the old ver app . . .

Is there any indication to tell which side is master? From app? From bluetooth connection? Audio beep or anything?
Dear friend,

If your mobile phone does not support TWS+, only one side will show connected in the Bluetooth page. And this side is the master one.

just tried removed the current app and install the apk file. but the app still can't connect to utws3. and sadly all the the previous connection profiles for my btr7 and utws5 are lost too . . . . please let the software team of the problem. i saw on play store that some other user left similar comments that utws3 can't connect to the app and fiio has responsed that they're working on this .

So basically FiiO is simply ignoring our requests to improve the app to include a workable equalizer...

Also the case loses charge within a few days and I often find the earhooks connect to my phone on their own while they are still in the case causing battery drain...

Come on FiiO you can do better!!

Dear friend,

What's the problem with the EQ function of your UTWS3?

Best regards

I'm surprised this isn't higher on the issues list. Mine dained the case in about two weeks, which is nuts - even if the case may not have been fully charged at the start of that.

I think the earphooks connect to the phone as soon as the charging case is empty because they detect whether or not they're in the case via the charging connector (voltage present or not). That's not very good design.

I use these and keep having MMCX connectors of the IEMs break on me. Happened with a low cost IEM but also with a pair of Shure 535s recently. Don't think I've ben too forceful or anything to put them in, but I do put them on and off at least once a day for a few months when I use them (gym earbuds mainly). Anyone else have this happen, seems a bit much for normal wear and tear?
