Light up your music world  Give the M3 a try!

On behalf of FiiO, I'm pleased to announce that our upcoming micro portable music player the M3 is nearing completion and we will send out several preproduction units on a world test / preview tour!

Existing info / discussion thread on the M3: http://www.head-fi.org/t/780622/fiio-m3-ultra-portable-8g-64g-2-0-320-240-tft-50mw-flac-ape-aiff-in-line-control-ogg-mp3-aac-wma-24-hours-hifi-earbuds

The M3 is designed to produce audiophile quality music in a tiny package, in terms of size, weight and cost. It will also feature the longest play time of any FiiO to date. All of the above make the M3 an excellent travel companion. (you know how first you forget to bring any chargers with you on the trip, then you start losing random stuff in your luggage and leave your music player behind at the beach? The M3 is the answer to your woes--well maybe not the last part, but losing the M3 definitely hurts the pocket less than say an X7  )

Interested? Here’s your chance to get an early test drive of the M3 for free--including mailing costs!

What this means is, unlike our previous X player world tours, we will be shouldering any customs charges incurred when shipping the earphones into your country, and also your postage charges for sending on the earphones to the next member in the tour. (Please note that previewers in the ongoing M3 tour have to pay for shipping but will be reimbursed for any customs charges.)

In return, all you need to do is to write your own review of this player (in the review link to be posted, and in this thread)

----------
Preview application period: starting now!
Previewer list announcement period: after seats filled (keep them applications coming until then! :D )
Beginning of shipment of preview M3's: sooon

Please apply by replying to this thread and including the following information in your reply:

-DAP(s) you possess:
-FiiO product(s) you possess (if any):
-Descriptions and links to review(s) you have posted:

Keep your eyes on this thread as the preview units are shipped out and preview impressions start appearing! :L3000:

Shipping info:
Depending on the geographical distribution of selected reviewers, FiiO will ship out several M3's, one or more to reviewers in each region, e.g. USA, Europe, SE Asia, Pacific region, etc. so that shipping costs from one reviewer to the next is kept low. Previewers will first pay for shipping and any customs taxes / import duties that may result from the M3 crossing countries, then FiiO will reimburse them by paypal, via store credit or any other reasonable means proposed by the previewer.

•Please note that the review M3's will not ship with micro SD cards. Please prepare your own micro SD cards and music files for review.

Review regulations (subject to change before the tour commences):
•Reviewers should keep the M3 for at most 10 days before shipping to the next reviewer.
•Reviewers should ship the M3 to the next reviewer by registered post requiring signature in the padded box provided.
•Reviewers will not be held responsible for any damage to the M3 sustained during shipping or normal usage.
•Reviewers should do the preview fairly and objectively, and related product photos are required. (Alternatively, video reviews are welcome :D )
•Reviewers need not overstate the advantages of the products.
•Reviewers should indicate that the review M3's are free loan units, in order to avoid any misunderstandings.
•Reviewers are prohibited from using or disseminating pirated music on the M3.
•Reviewers are reminded to listen responsibly and safely to the M3, to not use it when operating machinery or driving, and not to drive headphones to excessive volume with the M3.
•Reviewers should post the completed preview content to this thread and the FiiO M3 review page (to be added). Please also provide Joe Bloggs with the links to your review, for me to come and admire your work :D
•Please contact Joe Bloggs in advance if you have any difficulties with the M3 in the course of your preview, so I may help you resolve it if possible :)
