Four months ago, FiiO released the Bluetooth amplifier BTA10 for Audio-Technica ATH-M50x series headphones and soon won the favor of the market. At the same time, we received the requirements from customers for their different model of headphones.

Here today, we are glad to announce that the additional version for Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7 series is available now.

The two versions BTA10 (both for Audio-Technica ATH-M50x and ATH-MSR7) use the Qualcomm QCC3005 Bluetooth chip, with support for the latest Bluetooth 5.0 protocol as well as SBC/AAC/aptX/aptX LL audio codecs.

Moreover, the BTA10 was specifically tuned to pair with the ATH-M50x and ATH-MSR7 series. With the BTA10, the ATH-M50x's sound becomes more monitor-like and gains more detail.Similarly, when the BTA10 is paired with the ATH-MSR7 the headphone reproduces more details with a more natural sound, for a better experience than even with the wired headphone cable.

If you are in the mind to get one either for your ATH-M50x or ATH-MSR7,
check with our local sales agent at: Click here for its availability or kindly buy it at our Aliexpress store if it's not available in your local market at: Click here

Best Regards

Although not specifically supported, will this also fit Ultrasone Signature series headphones? They use the same plug as the m50x, but not sure if the form factor of this unit would fit the shape of the ultrasones.

I'm curious about that too. I have the Signature Studio and I'd like to use it on that HP as well.

This is a brilliant idea.
Please make more products like this. It will solve sound quality problem of bluetooth devices...
So now you can use old headphones with bluetooth.

Maybe implementing a DAC converter would be great too.

Yes but I don't like the u-shape form factor which limits your headphone uses. This won't fit the MDR-1AM2 for example. A simple straight or L-shaped adapter (like Maceton/Airfrex/Muswor) with a thin-enough base is far more practical. I was eyeing on the Hagibis X2 which can also act as a transmitter for a non-bluetooth source only 1) I'm not sure if it fits the 1AM2 as its connector base seems a tad wide, and 2) It charges with microUSB.

Dear friend,

No. :frowning2: The BTA10 was specifically tuned to pair with the ATH-M50x and ATH-MSR7 series.

I bought the Hagibis X2 and it does not unfortunately fit my 1AM2 - pushed in as far as I could get it and it doesn’t make full enough contact to send audio to both channels correctly, unfortunately.

Thanks, they had replied to me on Amazon.ca saying it does but I still had doubts. Is it possible to sand the sides of the plug so that it fits? Is it rubber or plastic? I was able to get the Maceton receiver with the wider base to fit by sanding.

really bad customer support! I'd refrain from buying Fiio products, they are not up to standards and they never bother to email you back, it has been nearly a year since I have been corresponding with them, and they don't reply to there messages!

@FiiO I can't find this item anywhere. The Aliexpress site has a listing but it's not clear if this is for the M50 or MSR7. The listing makes it look like it's one device that works with both headphones. Where can we get this in the US? The Fiio site doesn't give me any listings for US distributors that actually sell it. Amazon only has the M50x model.

Dear friend,

Yes, the MSR7 version is out of stock in Amazon USA. It may be available at the end of this month or so.

@FiiO - Hi :)

I have just bought a pair of Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7b and a BTA10 Bluetooth adapter.

Unfortunately I did not notice the small print on your website saying that they would not fit this new 'b' version of the MSR7's. In fact I did not even realise that there are two versions of the BTA10's so I ordered the wrong version from Amazon anyway.

My immediate question is that your website says "The 3.5mm version does not support the ATH-MSR7b...". This sort of implies that the other version does or else it would say "This product does not support the ATH-MSR7B". The version I have got is the 2.5mm size and I want to know if it will fit. If I tried it and it wasn't suitable, could it do any damage to my new headphones ? EDIT: now I see the two balanced connections and feel stupid ! If I use the 3.5mm unbalanced lead from the Msr7b and connect it to the BTA10 using a 3.5mm female to 2.5mm connector, would that work ?

If it does not support this new 'b' b version have you any plans to bring out a version that will ? The concensus is that the 'b' version is a big improvement so if the BTA10 made them even better then you would have that rare type of product that is able to compete with others at a much higher price point.

Ironically it was seeing the BTA10 on your site tyatb led me to the MSR7's just as I was about to buy a pair of Meze 99 Classics and I ended up spending so much time reading reviews and comparisons between the Meze's and these new MSR7's that I just did not have enough time to go back and understand everything about your BTA10. I just remembered that it added noise cancelling and could actually improve certain aspects of the sound !

I think going forward that it might be better to make it clearer on your site that there are two versions, a bit like you do when you two colours. Before you added the 'b' version diecwlikernghete is nothing on the page mentioning two sizes, just that it fitted two models.

Cheers
Paul
