Epiphany Acoustics join Head-Fi with the EHP-O2 portable headphone amp

NwAvGuy is up to Objective Desktop Amplifier. Will Epiphany Acoustics build it too? I am currently waiting for it. I read it will have both 3.5 and 6.3 mm enterances and already a dac inside of it. It will be more or less O2 amp + ODAC but build for desktop not transportable purposes.

NwAvGuy has long gone from the Audiophile scene.....I doubt it.

So the chances are we will see ODA is about zero? Too bad, I had nice hopes for it.

Edit: Just checked his blog, you are right since 2012 May there is nothing. I guess I am gonna order O2+ODAC then.

I don't see why someone either doesn't a: design their own, or b: sell something like Kevin Gilmore's Dynalo, as I'm not sure if anyone actually makes a variation of them any longer. Might not be nearly as cheap as an O2 though.

Ordered mine today, to be used with hm-801 and Studio 3rd, my review will compare with GS Voyager (nearly twice the price)

Got my Epiphany Acoustics O2 last September :)

Absolutely gorgeous, works like a charm! It drives my Denon AH1001 and Yamaha HP3 (orthodynamic) with no effort. Next headphone might be a Sennheiser Momentum or some closed or semi-closed AKG.

I am currently using a humble Behringer UCA202 as a DAC (thanks to nwavguy's blog), but it's ok for now, considering that I use all this stuff at work and I leave them in one of my drawers.

Got my O2 as a Christmas present just last week.
With my AK120 and Shure 846 it is scarilly good and surpasses most of my other headphone amps costing four times as much. Only complaint I have is the battery life which appears around 6 maybe 7 hours.

Just got my ehp o2 and its made a massive difference to my Dragonfly V1.2.
Separation is much improved, highs more sparkly with a very black background.
Very impressed for the price.

Also works beautifully as a pre amp for my main set up.
