My Legend-Rs arrived this morning.  I am resisting the urge to listen to them until I burn them in for the recommended 50 (?) hours.  However, I can say that the build quality is great and the fit is excellent.  They just slid into my ears with a really tight fit, which is what I was looking for.

I still listened to the first 50

I think that will be awesome since you can listen and feel how the legend improves with burn in gradually.

As Piotrus-g mentioned, just enjoy your IEMs. BAs do not burn in. Physically impossible.

+100
I don't believe in BA drivers bruning in. That's why my Legend R are in my ears since the moment I opened the Pelican case.
But hey, maybe there is some dark magic involved and I'll see by myself.
Even though I've got to say that if the sound were to evolve I would rather believe it would be due to my brain getting used to the LR.

This is incorrect as the BAs get better at vibrating at a subatomic level within their tiny enclosures

Does anyone have a recommendation for a complementary CIEM for the Legend-R? I would like something with more treble (so boost in the 6k - 16kHz region) and more forward vocals than the Legend-R. Similar bass quality/quantity to the Legend-R would be ideal. I think the Hidition NT6 or NT6 PRO would be suitable, or should I be looking at something else? Sorry that this is off-topic but not many people have heard the Legend-R yet and I really want something different to it. Thanks.

My legend is not here yet but based on the demo and short force fitting of the custom version, I remember legend to be very neutral with very nice mids.

Now if you want something complementary I would say the shures 846 is not a bad one as it has very forward mids that is very full and lush. The bass is very special too with the very nice rumble.

I tried both the NT6 and the pro today and they are very nice too! Both have very forward mids but I prefered the pro more for a slightly stronger bass and a less sibilance mids. The NT6 mids is very clear and lively but I feel that it's a tad too harsh for me.

Either should complement the legend well since legend is more of a neutral sounding non fatiguing type of sound whereas the 846 and the NT6 are more bright and more energetic!

The Legend R. Neutral, layered, emotional. It doesn't get any better than that.

The Supra. Neutral yet fun.

You'll enjoy Earwerkz's top of the line and their affordable whichever way you go.

Perhaps the 1964 V8?

I've heard the demo 1964 V8, and they may be a nice complement to the Legend R.
