Curious where you purchase those little filters? Would not mind trying the same on my LREY woody for something differentHere is my personal fix for LREY W03 pro tuning.
The black paper just covers the whole metal tube, and the metal grate covers the paper. They both are sticky around the edge, so currently they are only held on by that stickiness, but I expect that I'll need to glue the metal grate on. I would have preferred a copper grate to match the style of the bud, but this looks pretty good too I think.
I can't easily A/B with the original or with the micropore paper, but as it is, it sounds really great. Still nicely bassy, lots of detail and stage.

Here are the paper filters

I picked the smallest size of each. Enjoy!
Indeed! Though it looks somewhat fragile - yanking the cable seems to apply stress directly into the driver...Moondrop U-2/U2 14.8mm

This week's new additions
The Shozy Cygnus
Shozy free gift ?
And the Tiandirenhe TD21
Of the three I like the TD21 the most may be due to fit the Shozy is bass heavy with veiled mids coming over a little muddy and congested. The free buds that came with the Shozy while bass light have a better clarity.
The TD21 are very comfortable and sound decent a little "transistor radio" in places but I'll definitely be using them when I don't want to be sealed off from the world out and about.
The LRay sets are levels above these. I'd put them in the budget VE Monk area
You on a earbud tear lately! appreciate the impressions.

Has anyone listened to Fengru PK?
I have not listen to the Fengru DIY PK but I have read before that it is quite bad.Has anyone listened to Fengru PK?
I would recommend the DQSM panda PK2s or NiceHCK b70/b40 instead.
The Blox TM11 has arrived and is in the middle of 80 hours of burn-in.
It's still on the way, but it's got awesome bass and a wide soundstage.

Finally all my bits and pieces have arrived so I’m in a b c mode, comparing the alpha 3, b70 and aeolian bells.
Initial impressions tell me that the alpha 3 and AB are probably better for my listening to classical music. Years of playing in orchestras and watching them mean that I’m quite sensitive to how instruments sound and those two seem to reproduce it better. Of course this is just my ears, others may hear differently.
I do however find the b70 the most comfortable and also listening to other genres l quite like their slightly warmer signature, especially listening to some 80s Japanese pop.
Also, I think the alpha 3 is a bit more refined in general over the other two.
Just had a few hours to listening to all of them though so I’ll be back as and when I’ve had more time with them.
I find the fit of all of them fine which is good, but I do find the B70 a little more comfortable in my ears than the others, maybe the weight? Maybe a little smaller?

Those free buds are Penon. If you look closely the Penon name is there. I got them when I bought IEMs from Penon. Don't know anything about earbuds, but the included foam improved the bass.

Impressions of Blox TM11
Pros: Superior TOTL sound.
Cons: Classic MX500 shell. Cable not included.
My pair has been properly burnt in for about 80 hours prior to this impression. I used an OCC material MMCX cable that costs about USD15.
The TM11 is the flagship of his Blox (made by Mr Woo), a small earphone company located in Thailand.
Blox was well known for selling small but great earphones all over the world.
Blox's previous flagship was TM9(2018) and before that he was TM7(2013).
*Official technical specifications*
Dynamic driver 15.4 mm,
Frequency response 20 Hz to 18 kHz,
Output 34 ohm,
Acoustic sensitivity 112 dB/mW @1kHz,
MMCX headphone jack
*Sound quality*
Presentation: The TM11 has an overall smooth and very natural presentation.
Soundstage: The TM11 is one of the best earbuds for those looking for the best soundstage that can be achieved in earbud form.
Instrument Separation: Instrument separation and layering is near perfect and what you can expect from genuine TOTL earbuds. You can easily identify the details of any instrument.
Bass: The bass sounds very deep, has a big impact, and has a great tone that extends well into the deep bass. There's definitely enough bass to enjoy.
Midrange: This is great because it sounds very natural. The midrange is just the right amount to my ears. Very linear and clear. Vocals are pleasant and the tuning is perfect for long listening sessions.
Treble: No harshness or sibilance. The treble is well-tuned to retain plenty of detail, but without sounding overly analytical or harsh. It sounds more transparent while retaining details.
*Music genre*
I didn't find anything lacking in all the genres I listened to on the TM11 (from jazz, rock, pop, classical, etc.). The distinctive sound they produce is extremely versatile for almost any genre.
*Conclusion*
After listening to this TM11 this time around, all I can say is that this is without a doubt the best release of all Blox earbuds to date and truly TOTL earbuds.

Something I threw together for the fun of it. Sort of an experimental build to help me unwind after a long and tiring work week if you will. I really had no idea how these buds would sound, but they turned out looking great and sounding very good for something I pretty much slapped together.
14.2mm 40Ω Bio Composite driver in a metal shell with mmcx.
I bought these side firing earphones (below) with the plan to use the shells for a flat head earbud build. As purchased they sounded terrible. I had great fun disassembling them to use the shells. The original drivers were trashed in the disassembly. They sounded bad, so no sense to save them at all.
