I just downloaded the 2.4.0L0 and finished installed. I don't even bother installing the stock 2.4.0.... as my download from iBasso site keeps getting interrupted
 
Just start listening to it now... even more "air" compare to 2.3.0L

The most obvious change I have noticed yet is the new boot screen, but I haven't done much additional testing so far - hope the FLAC gapless playback hasn't been messed up, as it has been perfect with the previous FW, but everything is looking good.

The only thing that would make the UI complete for me was a track counter on the playing screen, similar to the DX80.

Btw, I'm in the mood of getting a pair of full open cans, don't want to get an external amp, I'd like something to be driven by the dx90 itself only. I was thinking of Grado 325e. What do you guys think about? I listen mainly to hard rock and metal.

Try out an AD900X. Very underrated open can with metal and rock. They are cheap now a days too.

Now my best setup is hifiman re600-s iem. Nice, but in some songs I feel upper mids are too forward.
On amazon.it AD900X is still 299 € , while on amazon.com is only 149$

The Koss Porta Pro, great sound, cut out a quarter sized hole in the center of the foam but I have found I preferred the older version that was a black plastic around the drivers vs the blue as I think they did something that changed the sound of the PPs, which is too bad.
