I was looking for extra batteries, found this on ebay. So many fakes and faulty batteries everywhere. This guy has 100% feedback and sold a bunch of S3 batteries, with 0 complaints. Going order one and I'll let you know my findings.

Oh yeah...TOO many Taiwanese in Chang'An and Houjie...haha.  I do sourcing/trading for US/EU importers, so I have to run around factories in Dongguan a lot.  Are you aware of others in the area that are into audio also?

I'm in Shanghai practically every other month...I should check out some HiFi shops next time.

Hah, that's funny.  When I took my DX50 + E12 (now DX90) + IE800 showing off to others, it blew their mind how good it sounded.

We should definitely try to get together one time or another, I'd love to try out the SE846 with the DX90! ( and you can try the IE800's ;] )

Oh yeah definitely we get to have some gathering LOL, you really can't blame those people that is completely don't know about audio stuff especially in DG, to them everything is sound almost the same unless you give them some big speakers to listen. Curious about the E12 but for me the DX90 is more than enough to push the 846 , I think both the IE800 & the 846 have 2 different sound signature but I really like to listen to IE800.

It looks like the DX90J is using the exact same firmware of the DX90, not even to have its own startup screen graphic: http://www.hibino-intersound.co.jp/ibasso_audio/4080.html

It explains the Digital Filter Fast/Slow roll off affects frequency above 40KHz:

It also says the DX90J has a iBasso brand battery "iBASSO Li-on 2100PSE":

If you load the page in the Chrome browser it will ask if you would like the page translated. The page referred to is a firmware update info page. The DX90J page is located at http://www.hibino-intersound.co.jp/ibasso_audio/4079.html. Seems that the main difference is higher silver content solder, and
ES9018K2M digital section chips, and in the amp section Texas Instrument OPA1611.

The display:

I'm having some trouble importing songs from itunes to my Mico sd card. The album art are not showing up. And some of my albums are doubling songs. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

A lot of iTunes files dont have the album art in the actual music file but rather in iTunes meta data and therefore does not get transferred to the DX90 when you transfer the files. Also the tags that iTunes maintains are full of garbage when viewed and used outside iTunes
