I didn't know if all USB chargers put out a standardized voltage/amperage. I shall use the one for my phone or tablet then.

That's the same setup I'm planning to have, but I'm seriously considering returning my just new HE-400's and wait for HE-400i.. don't know what to do 

I'm enjoying the HE-400 with the DX90 on high gain, but I'd be tempted to wait for the HE-400i if I were you. The headband looks much more comfortable. I bought a foam headband insert from Sennheiser to make my HE-400 more comfortable, but it uses up a lot of the headband's height adjustment.

And you think high gain is just enough to power them?
Yeah I may just use the 400's a couple more days and then return them and wait, I'll just be alone with the senns momentums :rolleyes:

It works for me, and I'm not cranking them near max volume, either. I used to listen to them with the Fiio X3 + E12 DIY but didn't feel the need to pull out the E12 with the DX90 + HE-400.

  I bought mine on Amazon and the seller already told me that the warranty service is through them as iBasso is now offering warranty service through their US dealers and distributor. I will report back here how it goes with the seller, ProStudio Sound and Music, which has been offering the DX90 on Amazon.

I just heard back from the seller and they will replace my unit. I need to send back my defective one to their location in Virginia.

Sorry that you had a problem with your DX90 in the first place, but it's great to hear that ProStudio Sound & Music are taking care of it promptly by sending you a new one. That should be less hassle and faster than if you had to ship it back to iBasso. I ordered mine from ProStudio via Amazon as well. Keep us posted. Thanks and good luck.

I'm using a Trent PowerPak Xtreme 12000mAh battery charger to charge my DX90. It charges the DX90 about 5 times before it is depleted and goes from zero to full in 2.5 hours.

Does anyone know if there's a battery charger that can charge the Anker 4400 mah battery? I'd like to have one more of those bad boys and swap whenever one runs out of juice.

Just saw the DT880 600ohm going for a good price on the web... Can the Dx90 drive them adequately? If someone can kindly give me its pros and cons I would really appreciate it..

Didn't they send you one with the battery? Maybe not. I bought the 2200mA battery on Amazon and got it with the charger from them, which works great. You could also get a charger alone from Anker. The charger is light and works well.

The charger works with the 4400 mah battery? That's surprising. I received an email response from Anker's tech support saying that the charger is incompatible with the charger. This was the response:

After having made a verification, I am sorry to inform you but our Anker® Multi-Purpose Universal USB Travel Wall Charger is not fully compatible with our Anker® 4400mAh Replacement Extended Battery due to the voltage provided by the charger.

some of my files on the sd card will have artist folder, album folder but then no songs so the dx90 doesn't have anything to play. When I use mp3 tag there are no tags for those folders. How do I get tags if mp3tag cant find them? The tags are on the computer and play fine from there just not on the dx90.
