This thread is dedicated to opinions, questions and experiences around the Douk Audio U2 Pro digital to digital converter (DDC)andre-clocker, to convert USB digital audio signal into SPDIF RCA coaxial, toslink and hdmi I2S. It is based on the well known Xmos X208 chip for USB input.

It has its own clocks, 3 of them, and with three different options of clocks when you order your unit. It has input for external power supply. It is like a cheap SIngxer SU, or a Denafrips ares, or a Singxer F1, but affordable.

I received my unit yesterday, but I got some problem. Im using mac mini and when using douk in between mac and my dac, the sound came out in slow motion speed. What went wrong?

If you look at the PCB, you will notice Leaf Audio logo. A complete Leaf Audio box is on eBay $39, not sure it is authentic product, as seller is not a Leaf Audio.

I understand, but what is the bad thing of those long links? how can i make them more pure? shorter.

What dac are you using currently or with what dac are you going to use this DDC? I´ve spent too much this year in audio, any new purchase, I gotta research about it at NASA level and then sell something to buy new crap...

You should be able to delete everything up to the question mark. Try it and see if the link works. This will eliminate tracking cookies talking to each other in big brother's db (for the simplest explanation).

Thanks, now I understand it perfectly, links edited and working. I was wondering if one of these would improve the sound coming from my Ares2 DAC. According to a recent review, included clocks on the Ares2 not the most sophisticated.
