Well, I have ald intend to acquire a lot of high-end audio equipment in my house, but my house has really, really, (I can't emphasize this enough) really crappy power. I don't actually know when the wiring was installed, but the house itself is 113 years old.
I once connected my laptop charger, my maxxed headroom desktop, and my desk lamp to the same outlet, and the headroom was cutting out. I had to find another outlet for the lamp. So, the conditioner would probably need to have a built-in battery to assist it. I'll be powering a class A power amp that could draw as much as much as 260W, depending on how I bias it, a DAC, a large and powerful desktop computer with a big monitor, a laptop, and a piano keyboard, conceivably all at once, so this thing can't be wimpy, It also needs to supply very, very clean power.
Are there any designs out there that would fit the bill? If not I could probably design one myself, but I'm pretty new to this stuff and don't have a ton of time on my hands. I'd prefer to copy an existing design. I can't afford a commercial product.
Thanks guys!
