Ya sure you're basing that off the production TH900s with the small channel and not those prototypes with the weird lip?

I actually liked the weird lipped prototype - more unique look.. but I like the current one as well (just not as much)

Hey if you find TH900 pretty then who cares, I am just saying I don't like it. End of the story.</br>

I'm not saying you're wrong or weird, just that no one really seemed to mention the change so you might have missed it.

Is it me but I don't see any differences between the 1st and 2nd pictures, other than that pretty Asian girl. :)

Christ, is there an actually reason they're charging THAT MUCH for a pair of phones? I think it alienates a lot of consumers. It's not like they're using zebra hair and diamonds for the construction. I doubt the TH900 raw materials are vastly different from the D7000s?

Yape, all headphones prices are insane, HD800, Ultrasone ed10, Grado PS1000, ed8 SE, LCD3, etc.
I am thinking I should have invested "more" in real estate instead. :)

The red finish on them is actually pretty expensive to produce, it's a specific japanese finish that I can't remember the name of made from a poisonous plant and takes tons of work to create.

I do really wish they released a varnished wood version for a few hundred less, though.

Urushi, it's featured on very expensive Japanese fountain pens and other fine oddities.
