exactly, that was what I'm asking, if the guy from Sennheiser have to pay or what. Personally if I can't afford a $1500 headphone, I don't think I can afford a $300 repaint

I think the silver and black part on the ear cubs should be colorable too. Those sorta stop you from achieving a decent theme. The manufaktr delivers a lot more control, and if you can match it custome HD800 sales might be a possiblity (at least for me). I want a matte black HD800.
