Have no idea on how good there are, so I've been trying to get someone else to buy them and make a review.
Plus they are really the lowest cost AC powered solid state headphone amplifiers I know of.

Heard TubeMagic D1 with HD650 and they are made for each other but be aware that in order to get most of it you need to use SPDIF input instead of USB

Oh no. I'm not looking too get one, I was suggesting them to the op because they work well with alot of headphones.

I've heard that the ATH-AD700 are superb for gaming; they are not heavy on bass either so they might suit classical. I suggest you add them to your list.

I think I've decided on the DT880 250 or 600 Pro or Premium (either one) what would a good not more than USD250?
 
I've been looking Fiio E9 (possibly with E17 or D3 added on later), TubeMagic A1 or D1, Govibe Peak and Tiny Tube DAC.
 
Main use is classical music on my Ipod Video and secondary is gaming on with my Asus Xonar DG.

My (used) DT880 Pro 250-Ohm arrived yesterday, nice sound.

I think I'm gonna get the FA-003 but 2 questions:

1. Any better options for classical music and gaming in that price range?

2. For an amp, Fiio E11 or E9? Of course, I may be satisfied without one.

1. FA-003(RM649) = USD200
2. K601(EU125) + E9(RM400) = USD285
3. HD580 + Audio-GD Compass 4 years old used(RM1000) = USD317

I'm looking more at no. 2.

Brainwavz HM5, same headphone at a cheaper price (no Velour ear pads)
Jaycar Pro headphones. appears to be same headphone as the other two and at a way cheaper price. $50 plus shipping.
