With PC you can get get optical back plate and wire for less than £20. Alternatively even HS01 is well up to the task.
On notebook,straight USB is fine. laptops are not grounded, therefore ground loop can't occur.
If using headphones, then straight USB is again fine. Headphones too, are not grounded.

I have problems with DSD playback (at least in Foobar, didn't test other players). I have this file and SACD plugin installed (it's played and recognized correctly), but the circle on my Mojo2 is lit red instead of white (for DSD). Is the file decoded correctly by Mojo?

Vodafone is turning off the UK 3G network in June. That means no more interference when the mojo is connected to the mobile via a usb cable

And goodbye to my data connection at home. There are far too many places in the U.K. that still only have 3G.

I haven't owned a mojo for a while, but the interference is more likely from 2G due to the TDMA modulation. If 4G & 5G coverage isn't very good (as in the UK) devices will fallback to 2G and you'll get more interference. 2G isn't going to be switched off until something like 2035.

Is it better to use the Mojo 2 with 19200 Samplerate and higher even when i listen to 44100 Samplerate music through Foobar?
Or should i use 44100 hz like the standard music rate?

Has been asked a few times before. You could have searched for it.
Supply it bit-perfect (i.e. 44.1), do not resample.
Let Foobar change sampling rates automatically.

I doubt that in my experience the interference is caused by a lot more RF sources than just the 3G.

Base. 20Hz + 3db.
Base. 125Hz + 5db.
Treble. 3KHz - 5db.
Treble. 20KHz +1db.

Outrageous settings. Should I leave the room now?

If music is playing through the Mojo normally when you play it, then your computer is re-sampling it to PCM.

Set the output device in foobar settings to chord mojo. The chord mojo windows device driver must be installed.

Looks like I solved the problem. In SACD settings I had to change Type to DSD. For some reason it won't play DSD files through WASAPI output - there is terrible distortion instead of music. It only works with ASIO.
