actually, you should check out soundwise, they are British importer for OVC, Cresyn and low range audio technica,
they bring in cheap nifty IEM´s
all the soundwise branded headphones are OVC

btw, the X3 have some serious issues with the stress reliefs, they might not be suitable for the constant movement of excercise,

also, you might reconsider IEM´s for the gym, the sweat buildup might put them out of service quite sooner then one would imagen,

Sound quality isn't the main factor when exercising but you might want good bass. The CX300 and Mylar XB are both good choices and give good sq AND bass. The microphonics can be avoided by using a clip or wrapping the wires around your ears, Shure style.

Well I don't fancy the J-Cable too much either, but it really does work its magic when you put it behind you neck/back like they're made for.
