😭😭😭😭😭

🥇

Extra points for using unobtanium materials for the casing
But we still hope for that HD-850S with full low range and smooth, natural highs!
Ed. At a sensible price, too!

Feeling lucky?

We'll be hosting a drawing for some of our fan favorites at the end of each day of CanJam Dallas. You'll be able to enter the raffle on-site when you arrive.

Saturday - HD 660S2
Sunday - HD 800S

We can't wait to see you all y'all!
hope the raffle is open to exhibitors too. I would love to own HD 660S2 for my collection. :)

Rest your ears, open your mind, hand over your wallet 🤣

Kidding...

Ask as many questions as necessary; the vendors want to help you have a great and productive visit. There are no dumb questions. Come say "hi!" 👋

^^^ Watch the preview video that will be posted here shortly before the event (I hope and suspect). It's usually 1 hour + long. When mixed with your interests and knowledge before hand, you can plan where and with what products you will spend your day or two at CanJam. Expect that there will be some waiting time for (usually) the newest, most cutting edge and/or popular products. Also be aware that most of CanJam does not permit optimal listening because of the noise created by the format. Conversation, especially with exhibitors, is an essential part of the event. If you are even possibly interested in buying some new kit, pay attention to the show specials -- both pre-announced and otherwise. At the end of the show, more than a few vendors are more motivated to sell rather than repack and ship.

Nice tip, could that mean a good 'ol fashioned haggle?

This is going to be my first CanJam :)

Any advice?
1. Bring snacks so you don't have to run out of lunch, have a big breakfast.
2. Have a list of gear you want to demo and something to take notes with. But make it a realistic list in terms of the amount of gear.
3. Bring a music source (e.g DAP or iPhone) with music you know well so that you get a feel of how the gear you're demo'ing sounds. One bad thing about most hotels is the wi-fi sucks in the conference / ballroom areas. Also, depending on the location, cell reception can be challenging. Due to this, please don't expect vendors to have any song you can imagine available.
4. After demo'ing gear be considerate and turn the volume down and place gear back where the vendor had it or coil the cables back, etc. Be cognizant of other attendees waiting in line to demo the same gear. Also, don't disconnect or connect gear / sources without asking the vendor. Pay attention to any signs about the types of headphones to connect to amps. @zach915m and the ZMF team do a great job with signs about what amps can have planars or what level of impedance for headphones.
5. During CanJam, keep an eye on this forum as some vendors will have additional listening opportunities on Friday night or Sat night.
6. Don't spend all your time listening to gear. Engage with the vendors and other attendees. Everyone there is interested in audio gear and more than happy to chat about it.
7. Check out the seminars, they're a great way to learn more about the hobby.
8. Have fun!!
9. Make plans to attend CanJams in 2024

See you in Dallas :beerchug:

This will be my first Canjam as well and my son is flying in to join me for the weekend. Looking forward to looking and listening to the great gear and seeing the ZMF team in person.
