Thinking is selling my Andromedas to check out this new hybrid.
Maybe first try it out before selling it?

Now this pisses me off. I just bought the Green one's and sales said nothing. White are nicer and I had to buy the 2.5 Litz cable and now they come in white and give you a 2.5mm cable for less?!! I paid $1248.00 including the 2.5mm cable 3 weeks ago. Pisses me off big time. They better offer a trade in/swap option!
Why would they say anything? They are not being sold by Campfire Audio. It is a dealer only custom 1 time deal. They have done it with a few different models in the past.
Campfire made orion in sky blue color for Japan market, also red color for Korea with limited numbers.
It is some special requested order for local distributor require some MOQ, refer to some interview as I recall.
I guess Campfire will offer a CK coated Andromeda with standard color soon. Not sure if it is white or green or other color.
Seems like this is the new hybrid model and it is called Polaris. The translation on Facebook mentions a mix of iron and steel for the shell.
