5. Does Axon 7 mini come with same hardware that would impact sound quality as the regular one?

Thanks in advance for input.

Thank you for the list. We should make something like that a sticky...

Nubia Z11 has a DAC too. Similar to Axon 7.

Of the phones mentioned above I have the Xperia Z5 and the htc 10. And yes regarding sound quality the htc 10 is way superior. Details, soundstage, bass response etc is better on the htc 10. It's on the same level as the LG V10. Read the different treads off the 2 phones.

I haven't tried any of the Chinese phones. They are difficult to get in Europe unless you import.

Edit: The Xperia Z5 and the Xperia Z5 compact has the same sound quality.

No prob, glad I could contribute.
So currently the top of the league are those 2 phones + Axon 7, or is there anything else on par/better?

The best of the best seems to be Vivo XPlay5 Elite/Ultimate atm. But HTC10 and LG V10 are definitely easier to get. And from what I read LG G5 with B&O is similar to LG V10.

I agree, but here in the US it's really not ideal to use a phone for the Chinese market as the Google services don't work. I would love to own a Vivo phone, but not without Google Play.

Actually I'm now writing this from VIVO phone, sitting in cafe in Florida, using 3g by T-mobile. And I do have latest Google services installed... and I use full set of Google products, including Play, Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Keep without any issues.
But maybe you experience problem if country set in Google Play is US?

I just noticed that HTC 10 is a real fatty. At 9mm thickness it's always twice as fat as my current Wiko Highway Pure with 5.1mm.

How does HTC 10 compare against the Axon 7? Is Axon 7 running the same audio hardware as bigger version?

Anyone notice how the sound is worse with the Xiaomi Mi Note once you upgrade to MiUI 7.5 (the latest for the device). Less clearer, the sound is more compressed etc..

i still not upgrade it yet. is it global stable?

mine is global dev though.

That's cool, but no LTE is a deal breaker. Glad you are enjoying it though.

can i have some knowledge please. why do US people concern on having LTE. Cant 3G internet speed enough for surfing? Does that mean 3G in the states damn slow, unstable, less service?

It is just a curious question though. in order to understand country diversity. since I dont know anything about telecommunication in the states. I would love to understand each other more.

I'm not going to answer for everyone in the States, but since my primary music source is Tidal streaming then 3G will not always provide a fast enough connection. The carriers in the US have moved on and LTE provides many benefits. Nothing wrong with 3G for some people, but I prefer to have a phone that fully utilizes the network I am paying for.

I'm now not so sure...

To clear it up, if someone with a V10 can run UAPP - and see if when opening UAPP it brings up a warning, asking you if you want to use your USB device as a DAC...

The G5/B&O sounds vastly better using the native UAPP drivers than it dose LG's own Hi-Fi drivers.... massive difference - especially in high impedance mode.
