I don't need another man to teach me to use my organ, thx. In all seriousness: awesome. Any planned end-date for the cycle?

This is a very good recording, I am really starting to like the 9th, very nice symphony in every way.

The Largo is divine, a bit nostalgic. Iconic, really. Try the 9th with Kubelik, Berlin Phil, and also Dohnanyi/Cleveland, Reiner/Chicago.

Tannhauser, DG, Domingo, Baltsa, Studer. Sinopoli, 1989. Superb.

I've heard this recording. very nice. Not into Wagner that much (too LONG), but this one is great.

Really enjoyed this one:

Not particularly "hard" music. The Bates piece in particular sounds like kind of a SimCity soundtrack on crack. But worth a listen, and the sonics are great.

I am new to classical. Where do you guys find these to listen to them? I am having a hard time figuring out how to search for this stuff. Do you look by composer?
