Just an update, i converted all my songs from 16bit wav to 320kbps mp3 and after 10hrs the S5 still had 50% batt (based on the batt bar). Probably like @groucho69 said, the player can last at least 20 hours.

PS: With 16bit wav it could only last for a max of 12hrs

You should have made them FLACs.

Flac's are incompatible with the Walnut. I wanted to make it such that its switchable between all the players lol

Hi everybody,
I've just received S5 today.
I connected it with the PC but the computer does not identify the player. It's just charging the player. What shall I do to make the PC "see" the player?

That was the problem with the cable. Original one is OK.

Has anybody tried to upgrade the firmware?
Any improvement after the upgrade?

I haven't bothered... I'm sticking with the S5 stock firmware, I guess.

PS: After listening to the HE 150 ohm earbuds on the Benjie S5, I finally agree that it's a fantastic player!

Don't bother with **** PT15, Colarad C01, or K's 64 ohm. Lame!

What are the best over ear head phones for S5? Not plug into ear.

I just put my tunes on the card from a reader, but in order, try powering the S5 up, try a different USB port, try updating the firmware.

That was a problem with a cable. I tried not the original cable. With the original one there is no problem.
