And the designer Craig Uthus is retiring too. If the amp broke down, it will take a long long time to get serviced. They trouble shoot my ECBA remotely via email messages. And we kept going in circles, it's almost a year, and problem not solved.

Oh sorry to hear but this info is also useful, cannot get support for retired products anymore. But how come they are still taking orders on their website? Not ECBA but other EC amps.

Perhaps units under warranty are prioritised. EC is a very small company, we are talking about the designer, his wife, a technician and a friend kind of work force. Craig is winding down, it clearly shows in their after-sale services.
