I'm really starting to wait for these! =D If the bass is more powerful than it is in ATH-W1000X...

Kinda hoped that these would have some sort of case, but probably not? ATH-W5000 has one for less, but limited is limited...

I just pre-ordered a pair of these. AT's full-sized wooden headphones have always appealed to me, though some of them were certainly better than others: the W100 and W1000x being favorites, while the W11JPN and W5000 don't get used much.

While people tend to stereotype the wooden ATs as having a similar sound signature, there's actually quite a bit of variance between models. It'll be fascinating to discover how these fall in the range relative to the others. One thing's for sure: with the W3000ANV on their way, I'm glad I didn't buy that pair of W2002s I was considering several months ago.

from info that I got yesterday, there will be a launching of ANV series in Singapore on early December, guess after that launch, then the south east asia will get stock for ANV series

hey, just curious what make you prefer W1000X over W11JPN?

Off the top of my head, the bass is much cleaner while still being quite powerful in the W1000x. The W11JPN's bass can sound a bit muddied and bloated on certain recordings in comparison. It's been a while since I've scrutinized them side by side, however.
