Heya. I found these units on the Audio-GD site.

I've looked, but can only find information about the C2C. What's the difference between the C2 and the C2C?

If you're starting a new thread, I'd add the DAC19 in the title and make it a thread for both, as since both have the ACSS (CAST/SATRI) connection, a lot of people will probably end up considering them as a package.

Okay, changed the title and added the DAC-19 in there and the OP.

I think a lot of people were asking for ACSS input on the C2C and ACSS output on the DAC19MKIII, so now the C2 and DAC19 have it allowing them to get benefits of an ACSS connection (no need to worry about RCA cable quality or component matching). The C2 has, for regular RCA input from any other DAC, a gain stage with single-channel OPAMPs so you can change the flavour to suit your tastes. The input stage on the C2C was based on the Earth HDAM according to Kingwa.

You guys don't have to follow my advice. I just suggested it because every one is discussed, almost always the other comes up in discussion. For example, half the Ref 1 and Phoenix threads are full of discussion of the other so I thought it might be a good idea to have fewer threads rather than more. Nothing at all stopping you starting your own thread though if you feel it's a better idea.

Is there any reason why we can't have both types of thread ? One for those using the combo and 2 others for the individual pieces in their relevant forums. DAC19 thread would cover both option modes (DSP1/DF1704).

Cool ?

Peete.

My C2 - DAC19/DSP just cleared Customs tonight. Hopefully I will get delivery by Wednesday maybe even tomorrow. I am so glad Kingwa does burn in and then testing before shipping.
