Not only laughable, just plain stupid. It really makes you wonder who runs these organizations. No mention that the "L" in L3000 means "leather."

The highest cost iPod goes for $500...the Leatherheads for $2500...not too many people are willing to spend 5-times as much on the headphones as they did for the portable player. Too bad they didn't review the CD3000s, would have been hilarious to see their comments on what a fashion statement that would make in public.

I'll pass on using my ATH-L3000 for taking "on-the-go audio seriously." PC-Mag did a better job at selecting portable headphone / earphone upgrades recently. go figure.
