I dunno, but that cabling job looks pretty snazzy. Though it seems it would be quite susceptible to microphonics.

their website was a bit lacking last time I went. And "blackmax cardas cable," I think they should redo the name.

I think that's the handiwork of weeeeesquirrel. He bought my W1000s, and when he picked them up, he mentioned that he did a fair bit of recabling with Cardas cables. His signature includes a couple items with Aphrodite Cu cables, so I presume those are his own creations.

i was tempted to buy the maximus overdrive
for my sennheiser hd 600...
but the price is a bit high...
and some vendors still have problems sending items in italy...
packages get lost they say...
i buy things from all over the world...never had any problem...
we are in the G8....not a third world country...
by the way anyone here tried these cables with
the sennheiser?

From what I've read, the Italian postal service has been described as anything from "extremely slow" to "corrupt". Apparently, it's not uncommon for packages to take months to work their way through customs, if they aren't stolen outright. A lot of eBay sellers will not ship there due to problems with the postal service. Italy also has a lot of prohibited and restricted imports, as shown here:
Italy
You're not allowed to ship playing cards to Italy? Or handkerchiefs? Really?

extremely slow? corrupt?
please make up your own mind...
i have bought things from japan australia canada and none of the sellers
has ever complaneid about the postal service here and i didn't loose
a single package...
maybe it's an american state of mind...
should i think that all the people from us are a bunch of violent killers
cos somebody has told me that anybody can buy a gun??
ah c'mon! of course not!
i've bought many things for my headphones here from the united states
and the only thing i can say is that all the products are excellent.
There are many people here in italy that are potential customers..
it would just too stupid to loose the opportunity of having new customers
just because you've heard of this and that and that guy told that bla bla bla...
try for yourself before making a statement...
cheers
