Oh - the Great White North - I think that leaves me out - I don't know anything about cars for Winter driving (and I never want to know!)

On that site there seems to be all the usual suspects - maybe an older BMW 320i, or Honda Civic, Mazda 3, VW GTI, Jetta or maybe a Ford Focus.

I would imagine rust on an older car would be a serious concern!

Try and find an older Audi Quattro or Subaru AWD, I've seen many sell for below 5G and the maintenance isn't too bad on them at all, provided they've been reasonably cared for and aren't currently leaking fluids.

I would have to disagree on the Audi there Magic. I found the maintenance to be completely out of line for the worth of the car. If you are going to buy the Audi, buy new, and ditch it the second the warranty is up.

2) Banana republic dictator (El Jefe Magia)
3) Crime lord (like Feng from "Balls of Fury" or Han from "Enter the Dragon")
4) Head of an evil organization seeking world domination ("Dr. Evil" or "General Bison")
