AKG went into orbit with bin-aural sound processing on board of the space station MIR. Wow I would like to hear those space hps.
 
I named those hps K240 SDF. (Space Diffusion Fields).

I've ask AKG for more info, looks like the K-240DF cup. The metal/aluminium material looks interesting, I hope is more light compare to the original 240DF hps.

Looks like an industrial-grade version of a K270/280 earcup:

Given this milestone event is dated 1991, that makes sense.
