I really doubt that this K812 will be a pioneering product for AKG. Harmon seems only to look to focus groups rather than engineers for their last releases. The teaser video for the headphone wasn't anything special either, this headphone looks like a mashup of the K550 and K712.

Actually I was saving for the V-Moda M-100 thread because I started my headphone life there, but after reading:
