Some obvious ones for old-timers like me are crooners like Bing, Frank and Dino. This guy also sold millions of records, singing, believe it or not.

This is from the 1963 film of The Nutty Professor, starring Lewis and Stella Stevens. SQ isn't great, but I think you'll get the idea.

From the 1957 film The Delicate Delinquent. This was Lewis's first picture without Dean Martin, I believe. SQ is not great on this either. But he displays nice vibrato, and pitch control on the high notes, for someone who probably never had any formal training. This was before auto-tune btw.

I should put a small asterisk by this, because I've never heard Milla perform live. I owned her Divine Comedy CD (which includes this track) for awhile though, and enjoyed it.





Milla is unique.
