Hi all,

Just wondering what everyone thinks about those multi source switchers that you can get from radioshack etc with 4 inputs and 1 output

What I'd be using it for is one input and selecting between the 4 ouputs, I'm pretty sure it will accept connections this way right?

Also, would it affect the sound much by using one of these boxes?

They work fine. I've had a couple in the past and they work as advertised.

If you want to go nuts, you can buy "audiophile grade" components and build your own. Guaranteed to cost a lot of money.

I have a Niles AXP-1, it's a nice little unit that does what it's supposed to. IIRC it was around $70.
