Just binge watched all of Princess Principal that's currently out (up to ep 8). This one took me by surprise; I thought it was just going to be another shallow action show but the story and character depth is quite good. It is a bit difficult to realize everything up until episode 8 (the current latest episode) so if you hate stuff like plot holes then you'll probably dislike this one (if the action doesn't keep you interested).

One thing I did notice is the SFX used for metal contact (e.g. weapons clashing); they're, from what I can tell, very close if not identical to the ones used by ufotable for F/Z and F/SN UBW although neither show has a studio that's cross-listed (that being said, the Fate shows only show ufotable as the studio on the anime list sites and we don't know what other studios ufotable contracted/outsourced work to for Fate).

Would recommend watching if you haven't already, especially since if you binge watch it now, the big question mark is removed with episode 8.
