People hardly even have 4k lol. There's barely any good native 4k content out there too.

Well, there's Kaby Lake and Netflix. Coming your way in UHD~ Experience television as it was meant to be experienced! Starting at only $$$ per month for just the TV.

Hands are itchy. Can't wait to play a round against the King of the Wild Card as the Gwenter.

Was checking out Riyo's earlier works, before he made the web comic series for FGO

Turns out he did animations too. Wow. Boy are they full of energy.

As always, they're anime girlies so they have to be cute! XD

There's The Grand Tour and, um, Marco Polo?

Most of the big bbc documentaries are 4k if you buy them or watch on an enabled tv. I'm pretty sure planet earth 2 is 4k. They detailed plans for a proper 4k+hdr rollout across the uk network in December as well.

Dang it, I can't imagine any USA networks getting 4K let alone HDR for a few more years. Then again nobody here watches proper TV anymore except old people who don't care about new technologies so the whole thing seems like a moot point.

Dat moment when you're trying to share a song with someone and it isn't on YouTube so you have to resort to DailyMotion...
I'll repost the oldie but a goodie here; I was listening to this today quite a bit and it hit my feels pretty good thanks to some recent relationship stuff in my life:

Well, when everyone who wants to watch tv or use iplayer is legally required to pay a tv licence for the bbc, you have a lot of funding to throw at things.

Not sure why this came to mind when reading that, maybe the cardcaptor sakura (which is great - need to rewatch some day), but have you seen Uta Kata?

I hardly remember the show tbh, maybe it was the op/eds which were phenomenal.

IIRC have downloaded once or twice poi throughout my hoarder life, but never watched....

  Oh my god Dell just announced a $5k 32" 8k display...7680x4320.

Welp hardly any meaningful info on that thing other than its 8k poi..
There is also that new Asus that is pretty buzzword compliant, "4K, 144Hz, G-sync, Quantum Dot and HDR" in a 27" panel targetting around 1.2k USD

...but I think my next monitor will still be a 27" 1440p poi

I plan to catc~ try em all haha. They're $1450 USD here but I think they only sell the standard version here. Is there a difference between standard and ~snow~?
Well I managed to find a price quote of 165000 Yen for the Monet17 which would mean I would be paying a $800 USD premium which doesn't seem all too great. I'll give em a listen anyways but unless I fall in love with em or something I probably won't get them.

Just checked the price on Fitear, all price are HKD

Monet 17 $13800
Aya $9600
Air $10800
334 $13800
333 $9580

So monet17 in HK priced around USD 1770

Do they still offer 333? I thought it was a discontinued model.
Tried the universal one (and for sale for like $1500 too) but was kinda meh since it felt pretty grainy on the upper freq.

Good to hear! That's the third person I've talked to who likes it. I'm kinda meh about alcohol, so I'm hoping I'll like the Japanese whiskies I got. Didn't like much of the sake I tried there and had some Irish or Scotch whiskies while I was in HK and some of them weren't bad, but I think I need to expand my pallet of alcohols before I truly like any of them.

Whisky can be somewhat of an acquired taste. The more you drink, the more you start to appreciate the different and subtle flavors present. But it's like that for anything.

Haha~ that's so true, I remember the days where I thought all headphones, cameras, cars, wine, etc. were the same

They offer it where I live too so I guess it's not discontinued.
