$45 earphones from Walmart will never be considered in-ear monitors, but no I haven't heard anything about those.

On other news, I was wondering what I could do with the thunderbolt ports on my Mac. I can't seem to find any practical use for them. There isn't a thunderbolt to USB cable to attach my external hard drive to. I honestly don't know what to do with these 2 ports. Seems like a waste?

Firewire? It's an older technology that cameras used to use. It's faster than USB but few devices use it.

Firewall is what protects computers from malicious things from entering your computer via the internet or similar things.

I use a Thunderbolt to VGA adaptor, sometimes.

The usual HDMI to mini display port adapter found on ebay should work for thunderbolt as well.
 
It's firewire
 
eSata, Firewire, USB 3.0, and Thunderbolt are the most recommended types today. USB 3.0 and Thunderblt are superior though. I believe the new Mac's have both on it.

Yeah I don't think it's the 2 kHz dip in the SE846. This still sounds okay to me with the SRS-2170. The harpsichord isn't really audible, and the vocals sound way off in timbre(?), but the voice is still clearly heard.

Trying to find a 1 Tb 7200 RPM external hard drive with thunderbolt compatibility is tough...
 
I've been hearing that 5400 rpm is pointless with thunderbolt too.
