Haha nah. It's just for college. College Portfolio
Hopefully none of my competition will be looking at Head-fi (doubt it :3)

On other news, I was wondering what I could do with the thunderbolt ports on my Mac. I can't seem to find any practical use for them. There isn't a thunderbolt to USB cable to attach my external hard drive to. I honestly don't know what to do with these 2 ports. Seems like a waste?

External monitor

External GPU for when you run Windows

Thunderbolt extHDD for uber uber speed

It basically mainly deals with either storage or peripherals when it comes to thunderbolt and how you can daisy chain them

Are there any adapters for the thunderbolt ports? My peripherals don't use thunderbolt.

I've been looking at the thunderbolt to firewall cable, but I'm not exactly sure what a firewall is. I've heard that you can connect your external HDD via firewall?

And dedicated Thunderbolt externals are really expensive >.<.

I'm sure there are.

The usual HDMI to mini display port adapter found on ebay should work for thunderbolt as well.

It's firewire :D

eSata, Firewire, USB 3.0, and Thunderbolt are the most recommended types today. USB 3.0 and Thunderblt are superior though. I believe the new Mac's have both on it.

Trying to find a 1 Tb 7200 RPM external hard drive with thunderbolt compatibility is tough...

I've been hearing that 5400 rpm is pointless with thunderbolt too.
