@Tom Yum Goong

What sort of sub do you have/plan on gettting? Generally subs that are designed to work with studio monitors basically inputs and outputs for both channels with crossover settings eg. http://www.amazon.com/M-Audio-240-Watt-Professional-Active-Subwoofer/dp/B002WZ6DUC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1382674297&sr=8-1&keywords=subwoofer+m+audio. So your setup would go, source > subwoofer > speakers.

Oh disregard my last post. Just realized Tom's second picture is of the subwoofer, not a speaker

Right now, I'm using a 2.1 system that works exactly like this.
The subwoofer in the picture is almost identical the one I'm using right now.
Mine doesn't have a mic out but the whole USB thing going on.
It only costs like $200.

I wouldn't be too sad if the whole 2.1 thing would not work as I would like it to.
Just thought that these speakers would benefit from a bit more "rumble".

  Lol.

So wait, are they relatively flat? Or are they more V-shaped? Is the bass lacking any frequencies, or is it just relatively flat?

In other words, the build is just a bit fatter DBA-02 shell? Meh. I always found those a bit hard to get out of your ears if you got any oil on your hands or the shells...

I would personally say that they are relatively flat. Not neutral but relatively flat. The bass frequencies are there and are represented with good detail but not pronounced enough to call it neutral.

I have no idea, never had the DBA's sorry :frowning2:

Think I'd like them? :)
