What's best for a long-haul flight?  Buying an Ety er6i, or getting tri-flanges on existing iems?  In other words, are etys so good at isolation just because of the tips?

Looking for a pair of IEM

Hey!   My SE310 died some months ago and I tried the Monster Beat but wasn't satisfied (they hurt in-ear ><). So now I am searching new ear-phones to use it with my mp3. I don't really know what should be better for me, I mostly listen to house music, trance, rap, hip-hop or rock...

    Klipsch Warranty!

So I have had the Klipsch X10 in 2008 and lately the cable has been fraying on the outside of the left IEM.  Well I got ahold of Klipsch right away, no questions asked they are going to warranty it!   Good job Klipsch.

Recs for comfortable noise isolating IEMs?

All -   I am a frequent traveler in search of an upgrade from my audio technica ath-anc7 travel headphones. I like these a fair bit but being on-ear they tend to hurt my ears after a couple of hours and the sound quality is not as great as I'd like. I bought a pair of Ety HF3s, but the...

IEMs for Rap, Trance, Eurodance, pop, electronic <= ($150-$170)

Hey Head-Fi! Last time I wanted some headphones you guys helped out a lot and I couldn't be happier. Here I am again looking for a pair of IEMs. I mostly listen to Rap, Trance, Eurodance, pop, and just about every other genre of electronic music (hardstyle, glitch, ... you get the point). Things...

    AMAZON: Klipsch X10 for $199.00

Sounds like a good deal to me. I love my X5s and would consider these if the treble wasn't rolled off like my X5s. (Is it?)

audiovox to buy klipsch? this cant be good...

I have been toying with buying a set of the X10s.  I guess I should hurry up before they are either gone or turned in to a Walmart edition for $19.99   http://www.engadget.com/2011/01/07/audiovox-to-buy-klipsch-we-cant-help-but-worry/

    Top IEM for gym use

My q-jays (foam tips) finally have died after 3 years of use mostly during running or weight-lifting.  Loose wire in cable from bending with sound going in and out.  I liked these alot (once I got good fit with foam tips thanks to tip from Headphone Addict) but don't want to send them to Sweden...

Turbine Pro Gold vs Klipsch x10

It has come down to these two.Which one should I get??   I listen to all rap and hip-hop so I love bass and would also like good isolation because I ride the buss as lot.   I love my klipsch s4i so I know all about the comfort of the klipsch.   I am leaning to the MTPG but I dont know.

Need something like the Turbine Pro Gold minus fit issues!

I recently picked up the Monster Turbine Pro Gold on sale from Best Buy (yay for Boxing Week!), and I was extremely impressed not only with their sound but also with the exceptional quality of construction.   The one problem I had with them was fit. I couldn't get any kind of a seal with any...

So many terms, numbers, and lingo - some advice for someone new.

So I've lurked this site for quite a while - I'd say for at least a year.  Ever since receiving my UE Triple-Fi 10s, I've been on the hunt for an even better pair.  However, I find myself in the same problem every time I look around - another option to consider, another review contradicting the...

    ADDIEM to RE0, not impressed...

Well I've just upgraded (sort of...) from ADDIEM to RE0. I must say I'm not impressed. I still have a burn-in period yet to spend but as a first impression; RE0 is not a huge leap from ADDIEM at neither mids or highs, there is just a little difference, ADDIEM is a very clean IEM, RE0 is just...

    Klipsch oval-shaped tips...what angle?

I bought some Klipsch oval-shaped double flanges to try on my Atrios, and I *think* they're going to work out really well, but I've got one small problem...which is that I can't figure out what angle the oval is suppose to be at!  I've been trying different angles in an attempt to figure out...

Shure SE535 Not Good for House Music and Electro Pop? Klipsh X10 better bass output?

Alright, I'm slightly confused. I've been reading such positive reviews on the Shure SE535, so I thought I'd go and demo them. To my surprise, I wasn't wow'd by them. I started listening to Dev (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDfUjM-vygI), which is pretty bass heavy and the Shures didn't really...

    Jays Q-Jays - Impressions

I traded with another Head Fi'er for some Q-Jays and have had a chance to listen to them a little bit. I also bought a Line Out Cable for a Zen Vision at the same time and tried out both the cable and Qs on my Zen Vision and it's quite a good sound I'm hearing. The Zen has WMA@192 on it and the...

Comfort & Isolation > Sound Quality & Cost: What are the most comfortable in-ear phones?

I've been using Westone 2 (and Westone 3) in-ear phones for the past three years. I have just returned from a working trip to Africa and lost my headphones (and Sanza Clip) along the way. Apparently they fell out of my pocket. My bad. I had to survive the last 8 hour flight using the United...

    Klipsch image x10's good upgrade?

So ive had these sennheiser cx-400's for 2 years and they were far better than the nokia ones. The cable near the splitter on the left earphone has broken on the inside and an upgrade seems good. :D  I was wondering will the upgrade from the cx400's to the klipsch image x10's be noticeable...

Are there a lot of fake Klipsch earbuds?

I'm thinking about getting a pair of Klipsch X5 or X10, and I wonder if there are a lot of fake Klipsch X5/X10 around. (I know a lot of B&O A8s on the internet are fake)   Anyone? :)
