I'm new and am trying to decide between these 2.   I would be using the HD650 headphone   Which is better?

I have a pair of Sennheiser HD650 headphones, and I am on regular onboard sound on my PC.  My question is, should I get an Audio-GD amp or an Essence STX sound card?  I play a ton of games and listen to a lot of music too, so what do you guys think?
