Magaosi K3 PRO impressions and discussions thread.

I've been reading a lot of good reviews on this piece. Has anyone tried to compare this with Ibasso's it03?

Tried it in an Audio meet, that's what pushed me to order for the k3. For me, the IT03 has bigger bass and sub bass, and more extended treble. I find the sound stage and imaging about the same. The mids of the k3 is magical though, and smoother overall. Personally, I like the IT03 but love the k3. Was using a x5iii as a source.

Just got my K3Pro a couple of days back and i've been impressed so far. Just to add some positive impressions, they're so coherent and very balance sounding with the bass sounding much improved than previous K1, tighter and better textured. The bass has good speed and decay as if they're coming from a BA yet gives off strong impact at every bass note and is able to rumble deep down when calls upon unlike BA. I belive the graphene is responsible for this.

The midrange is sweeter as ever particularly at female vocal range which i believe it's now considered the Magaosi house sound. (Having heard Magaosi since HLSX-808 and then the K1, BK50, then this so i can confirm this)

What impressed me is actually the highs. Very articulate, sufficiently bright with very good extension but i don't hear any sibilant nor any annoying peaks thus far. Coming from the unnamed which can be very annoyingly peaky in its treble and having read about peaks in TWFK based BA Iems, i really did not expect this.

Having heard quite a few of Chinese brand 3 drivers now, i can confidently say this top the rest of them i've heard. They're just like the much refined version of K1 not just in sound, but also in size as i did not expect it to be that small. Used to think the K1 is light and fits perfectly but after wearing the K3Pro for few days, the K1 suddenly become so bulky and heavy to me

No. I have the X3ii but mostly I run them through a Shanling M5 coupled to an Aune B1 Class A Portable amp.

It's a Very good sound.

Received them yesterday, but I received two L-plug cables instead of only one and one straight plug cable. Well, it's no big deal. Initial impressions are warm and lush, thought a bit sibilant out of the box. Quite different from what I heard when I tried it before, hopefully burn in will improve them. But it's so goooood for its price :D

Sibilance? Probably your tips or Seal. If anything the High/Mids and Highs are somewhat rolled off. Just guessing here. Of course burn in will mellow out things a Little moreso the Graphene Driver rather than the B/As.

On a mission today in Hong Kong looking for diy 6 armature and just yesterday found a fella doing some diy in Shenzhen china. Prices are way up there and I came across these and loved them. Did a search and brought me here. Got the K3 pro with one year warranty. To hell with all the diy, haha.
