For what it's worth, they do fit in the Ether cases just fine.

Good to know.  However:
1. Not everyone buying the Aeon already have an Ether.
2. Those that do - still need another case for the Aeon

3. Aeon being more compact, hopefully would have a more compact case for travel...

I totally agree.  Hence "for what it's worth".  Some people have an Ether already, won't be carrying them both at the same time, and don't mind the size.  YMMV as always.

They we're that awesome that if i didn't already pay to get the Z1R, I would of been pre-ordering myself a pair. I liked them more then you're Ether-Flow. I don't have a detailed explanation right now but i even told Jason from The Source that they we're freaking awesome and to me better then you're flagship. That say's volumes to me.

What music did you test the Aeon with?
How did you like the bass?

I thought the bass was smooth. Not enough time to really listen to them thoroughly because angry eyes we're standing behind me. I listened to whatever stuff they had on there playlist. Not my cup of tea music wise. But whatever it was sounded really good. I can't quite give a detailed review and it's hard to remember certain things, i listened to the most cans i could in 1 days time.

Hi all...   We will include a case if we can deliver quality at a price that allows us to keep it at $799.99, if the cost is too high it will be an option.  This is not easy and we make no promise except that we will try.  That's the last major part of the project that isn't finished and in production.

I demand a single piece case made from aluminum billet :wink:
heh j/k but even a soft case like the one the oppo pm3 comes in would be great

I am in the same boat as the person with bass concerns - I am a Prime owner and love its sound signature, but I didnt upgrade to Ether because of the price and the initial comments of "thin" sound. Any comparison to the Primes?
