Hidizs AP60

Hey, It may be that I'm not expert enough at searching the internet...  But, I have seen ZERO about the AP200 ???

Was it actually shown at the CES 2017 ?   Or delayed for some reason?

Curious what it's like and what it has better than the AP60, and the AP100.

Thank!

We are trying our best!
Kindly wait for its coming!

Of course we are still manufacturing the AP100, we still try to make a further development to it.
The AP200 will be coming soon.

That's good to know as the AP100 is my favorite DAP of any I have ever owned and I really want to buy another one

No problem at all with firmware 1.05 as transport for Chord Mojo, on my side...  Thanks for this upgrade with French language !

Can you had two more things, please @Hidizs @Hidizs Hk :
- in the tag "artist", it could be great to have a choise like "All tracks" for reading all tracks of an artist, not just the albums.
- and the ReplayGain.

It will be the perfect transport like that !

Greetings,

I just updated to the 1.05 Beta firmware and wanted to:

1. Point out that the download ZIP file is still labeled as "AP60 firmware ver.1.01Beta.zip" but unzipping reveals a "AP60 1.05Beta_BT" folder that does have the new firmware inside.
2. Ask for a list of improvements/fixes incorporated into version 1.05 Beta (from 1.01 Beta).

Am hoping that the Bluetooth will now work with my 2016 Honda CR-V (as the transport was always stuck in pause mode on 1.01).

Thanks and take care,

Alan

Hello i need small help. It seems i am not able to play AP60 into desktop DAC. I use a USB A to B cable with OTg adapter.
I am able to play directly from Mobile though. With Mojo, AP60 is working fine.

Could you please suggest, if i am missing anything ? I can see the pop message "Audio equipment connected", but no sound is coming from my DAC.

Hi again,

Although a little buggy, I was actually able to get my AP 60 to play music through my 2016 Honda CR-V over Bluetooth on firmware 1.05 Beta (something that I couldn't get working at all with 1.01 Beta). I only had a chance to try it twice and, in both instances, playback stopped after a few second, but then stay on OK after manually selecting the previous track on the AP 60 the first time and I think pressing the play button on the CR-V display the second time (which I'm pretty sure did not do anything the first time). No info is presented on the CR-V display when the music is playing and I wasn't able to get the previous and next track buttons to do anything the first time I checked.

On the bright side, though, it actually did play perfectly after the initial issue on both attempts--and it sounded quite good too. Hopefully newer firmware will reduce the buggy nature of the corresponding Bluetooth operation and provide at least artist/track info and the ability to use next and previous track selection from the CR-V control system. It would also be nice to have a setting where the USB connection is ignored for everything aside from power, so the AP60 could be connected to a USB port for power without the car thinking it's a iPod and the AP60 thinking it is connected to a computer. (Or, even better, if it could emulate what's needed for iPod-style integration over the USB, then Bluetooth wouldn't even be necessary.)

Any feedback (especially from Hidizs) would be greatly appreciated.

Best wishes,

Alan

Hi,
what desktop computer system are you using?
Do you install the USB_AUDIO20_Windows_Driver?

It seems you misunderstood my query.
I am not using any computer system. I want to use AP60 as a transport to my Desktop DAC. When i connect AP60 to my desktop DAC, i can see the message "Audio equipment connected", but no sound is coming. But i am able to play my desktop dac from my mobile. I hope the issue is clear now ?

Hi,
Just got my new AP60, and quite happy with it. Updated to firmware 1.05, and installed Windows DAC driver correctly. AP60 works fine as computer DAC, as long as I use wired headphones. However, when using BT headphones, no sound comes out. Is that a limitation of the AP60 or a firmware issue?

thanks,
Alex F.
