  bought isine 10

the isine 20, bass bit too much, to the extent of fake.  20 has vocal closer..  discernable just a few seconds of comparison.

easier to drive, just over shame song phone is fine.  of course with mojo is another world.

people are very different, iSine20 is to me still bass light, even Tralucent Uber cable which emphasis the low end, the iSine20 is still bass light.
I cant imagine, what would you say when you listen to something like Vega,Roxanne, tralucent Ref1too, ASG2.0.

bummer... well super glue will probably fix it.  I guess they're not as strong as I thought. I guess I've gotten lucky.

I'm actually having some issues with my 20's as well.  I rarely unplug the cables, but they do occasionally get tugged and come out.  The left plug has already become so loose that it practically falls out on its own. The slightest bit of tension or tug and it's out. I haven't felt like dealing with it via audeze, so I've taken very small pieces of paper and put them in the grooves of the plug end to create extra tension to hold the plug in.  For what it's worth this actually works very well, but for $600 headphones this is not acceptable, and I can only imagine it's only a matter of time before others start having this issue.  I can only guess that in the grand scheme of things most people will be removing their cables much more frequently than I do. :frowning2:    If I were regularly switching between the analogue cable, and the lightning cable to accommodate different sources, this would be a nightmare.
I just checked and In two days I will have had these for a month.  yikes...

Yeah I feel like it'll be. Best practice/trend to keep them in a case that allows the preferred cable & attachment mechanism to stay on

I was able to try out the iSine 10 and 20 yesterday in a store.

Unfortunately the seal of these things is a lot more finicky than I had anticipated. The store didn't have the earpieces on their demo pair, nor did they have different eartips since they're not your standard sized eartips. Lastly, the listening environment was bad - there was a store speaker playing some music about 10 feet away. Not too loud, but since these things aren't known to seal well, it affected things.

From what I could gather, the audio fidelity really is top notch. No distortion to speak of. No muddiness at all. No part of the frequency is overpowering. The iSine 20s have noticeably better bass and a fuller sound than the 10s. They can definitely rumble along. There was a bit of sparkle that I didn't appreciate though at 5500 Hz - not sure if that can be removed with an equalizer. The sound is definitely more airy and the soundstage is wider than an IEM, which isn't surprising. I had a few moments where the sound wrapped around me, but I wouldn't say that it's infinite as some other reviewers seem to think. Certainly no where close to, say, speakers. Or maybe I didn't have the right tracks. Not sure.

My S5 was able to drive them directly, but the volume was maybe at 80-85% to get a good listening level, so these would probably benefit from an amp.

My recommendation is that these are good for people who can guarantee they'll be using this predominantly in a quiet environment. Because they don't seal nearly as well as flush-fitting IEMs, I'm afraid that much of the audio fidelity and enjoyment would be lost in a noisy environment, such as walking around on the street, in the subway, etc. Plus they leak sound so they're not a good choice for libraries. But for the relatively cheaper price of $600, you've got $1000-level IEM sound quality.

What about 10 vs 20 in your opinion??

Can anyone please compare the iSine 10s with iSine 20s while using the cipher cable??
Thanks in advance...

haven't tested the list you mentioned.

spent over 2 hours testing with shame song phones and mojo.  swapped, 10 on one side, 20 on the other, both left or right, still the same conclusion regardless.

conclusion still the same for me, the same that derived from literally seconds of listening.  thus, 2 hours, or seconds of listening the conclusion still the same.

i attended live classical concerts regularly, from my perspective, the 10 is more realistic representation of a concert.   making the 20 looks like fake.

also owner of sine.  sine is better for instrumental music.  and the isine seems to excel more in vocals.

i can imagine prolonged listening of 10. but for me definitely not in the case of 20.

one more thing, hard to find foam tip.  the tip is way tooooooo thick.

I just got back from testing these again, this time in a different store. Man, the sealing really needs to be a perfect fit or else both of them turn into a sparkly mess. I wasn't able to get a good seal with the demo tips and they were just plain hard to listen to. The wider soundstage compared to my W60s is nice, but they're really really sensitive to fit, or else any fullness they can produce just leaks out and vanishes.

If they do grab a dragonfly red and you're all set.

I've been reading reviews of the dragonfly red and am interested in trying one out but I have one question.  I'd mostly be using it on my Lenovo Windows 10 desktop and laptop and sounds like those should both be pretty much plug and play?  My smartphone is a Droid Maxx (first version) running android 4.4.  Does anyone know if the dragonfly red should work with my phone without a lot of histrionics?  I'm happy with the phone,  don't feel compelled to upgrade.  I've read different opinions about android 4.4 compatability.  I think my 20's sound pretty good just plugged into the speaker out port on all three devices  but you know how that goes and this post caught my eye.  I don't really want to cart something around that takes up much space...   thanks

Be very careful with the DragonFly Red. I just came back from testing the red and black together and the red has low volume issues on Android that make it almost unlistenable on my Samsung S5 running Nougat. Just do a google search for dragonfly red low volume. The black had no problem when I was testing them side by side.

The manufacturer keeps on saying an update is a couple of weeks ago... and they've been saying that for forever.

Hey CC, my ZOv1 is still filing out the 20's uber nicely,

I mentioned in an earlier post that the 20's sound like a very very mature ASG-2.0, which I also use my ZO on, the ZO fills in all the gaps, and fills up the large ss on the ASG's, and the HUGE soundstage on the 20's! I luv the ZO for giving my music some more heft, and it does it ssooo nicely, never clouds or muddies the mids or treble, it actually enhances the whole spectrum, the bass, the mids, and the treble! I call it a W sound signature, as opposed to the V or U shape, one area doesn't overshadow another, the W sound,

the 20's are the sound that I've been chasing for ssooo long, whew and what a looong journey, and with the ZO, perfection!

Originally, I had a similar issue with the plug being too loose, right out of the box for the isine 10. I returned them for the 20's. Both connectors are snug now.

I decided to try the cypher cable and audeze app again since it's been a while and I had not yet perfected my analogue settings when I was first trying it.  This was a quick run but here is what sounds best to me...
