From all answer, so Cayin i5 can't be dead silent due to hardware even software is fixed the best of it.

I guess I have to find a way to mod it by local modder if I don't wanna change DAP. I think impedence jack is not a good way to fixed this due to it change the sound signature.

I really love this DAP :frowning2:

I honestly think the iFi IEMatch might be a quick solution after reading the report in HeadFi.

The interesting part is, the writer of this review Hisoundfi has joined the i5 tour and will receive the i5 tour package very soon (about 1 week), lets hope he still have the IEMatch and can test it with i5 and some sensitive IEMs.

Want to share a good news with the i5 community here at HeadFi.

Cayin i5 has received the prestigious 2016 Product of the Year (DAP/Portable) Award from Headphone Guru.

With portable audio reaching epic prices it is astounding to see a low cost DAP that does everything so well. Employing the same DAC chip as some of the most expensive offerings, the Cayin i5 is able to decode almost every file format in current use including SACD ISO files, while its three separate amplification stages give it enough power to drive almost any headphone (the strongest portable device I have heard). Wifi capability and Android 4.4 mean full streaming audio support for those who can’t fit their whole collection on a single 200GB Micro SD Card and a simple elegant touch screen GUI makes for a user friendly experience. Need a portable USB DAC, look no further or the Cayin i5 can also act as source via dedicated line out, SPDIF or USB C. And none of this comes at a cost to build quality, looking sexy and stylish in its Aluminum and Carbon Fiber chassis. The Cayin i5 is plainly the best value in a DAP wining it the 2016 DAP of the Year award.

Headphone Guru has reviewed Cayin i5 DAP and issued a favorable review few weeks back.

I have met the Headphone Guru team at the CanJam RMAF and once again they have endorsed our products with flying color.

We are grateful to Frank Iacone, Gary Baker, Peter Pialis and the whole Guru team for their recognition and support. We have discussed subsequent review arrangement with Frank during the RMAF, and we are looking forward to their professional coverage of Cayin's HeadFi products in the future. :beerchug: :beerchug:

I would look into buying less sensitive IEMs before modding the i5. I heard no hiss on any of my phones, so you have lots of options. Just stay away from obscenely sensitive products and you're golden.

I bought from Penon and I'm currently based in Qatar.  I had an incident which resulted in a hardware issue.  Penon didn't have an issue sending a replacement through DHL.  I sent back the previous unit in my own expense.  Service-wise, Penon has one of the best customer relations people.

That is well deserved! I offer my congratulations to Andy and all of Cayin. You've created a marvelous player and should certainly be proud.
