Apologies if this has been asked but I honestly have not been following this thread. I checked Audeze's website for availability of the Sine cipher cables but didn't see any. Google also did not turn up any sites with stocks. Any idea where I can buy myself one?
^^ Only if you're lucky enough to find a cable used, Audeze doesn't care if you need one after a Sine purchase (I bought my Sines before cipher was even available). I learned that I should never, ever buy Audeze products early in production, they'll change and add things w/o offering an upgrade path. Does that sound unfair? Well, I can only go by their policy and how they've treated me, in that dept they're terrible.

Thanks @Magick Man for your reply. I too bought it before the cipher was available. While I largely use it with my Fiio X7, it would be nice to use it on my iphone 6S with the cipher cable. Oh well, guess we'll just have to wait.

My local dealer has them in stock - http://www.k55.ch/audeze-sine-lightning-kopfhorerkabel-ersatz-kopfhorer-kabel.html , and they're an official Audeze dealer.
So I'm guessing that the exclusivity period with Apple is over. This exclusivity period was often cited as the reason why the Cipher cable was not available separately. That said it may be that this period varies from country to country.
I'd check out your local or online dealers to see if they now have stock.

Hi @Slaphead thanks for your reply and the info. I checked the link and it appears they are charging 139 Swiss Franc for the cipher cable. That's almost the same in terms of USD, without factoring in shipping.
I did check the authorised dealer in Singapore but they have never had them in stock. Guess I'll try e-mailing Audeze USA and see what they have to say.
Ok, so I'm "trying" to DIY a balanced cable for the Sine. I sacrificed my Amazon cable only to find out I wasn't going to be able to "balance" it. So, has anyone come across or has the size of the slim 3.5mm that will fit in the Sine?

That's the Dragonfly Red, which is more expensive than the black, but IMO is a better match for the SINE due to it's higher output - the SINEs take a fair bit of power to get going despite the low impedance figures

I use this: https://www.moon-audio.com/audeze-sine-balanced-cable-for-pono-sony-pha-3.html (identical to the official Sine cable except two 3.5 mm jacks at the balanced end)
Combined with this: https://www.dysonaudio.com/collections/headphone/products/new-handmade-dyson-audio-spocc-litz-sony-mdr-z7-balanced-adapter-4-pin-xlr-pono

Has anyone compared the resolving ability of the Sine vs. EL8 Ti? I've heard the Sine and remember them being extremely resolving with the Cipher cable. Can the Ti's do the same?
