Actually it's just a prototype, not the final design. Yes, it has line/coaxial out.

Yeah I am sure the center pad or scroll wheel would be the same color as the player.   I will be disappointed if it is a scroll wheel given how hard it seems to be to make them accurate to use.  That is the main thing I didn't like about the Fiio DAP's I tried was how inaccurate the scroll wheel is on all the models.  Give me physical buttons every time and I will be happy

Scroll wheel makes easier to choose the song, i'm afraid one time my x3 button has broken cos i like to choose song randomly, i didnt like to play in shuffle mode. I hope xduoo make accurate and long last scroll wheel

Another novelty: xDuoo X10

xDuoo continue to work productively in the field pleerostroeniya.
By the end of July should send a test sample of the new model with an index of x10 .
While the cost of iron and no information there, and the unit will outwardly look like this:

I'm currently working on Russification software, message translation gives little information about how the device will be:

- Is 2 slots for SD cards, as well as at x3

- Operation will OTG

- Will the DAC with two types of built-in digital lowpass filter and support forthe DSD (either the same CS4398 , or WM8741 , or something from the AKM )

- Management will work with the headphones turned on (as in x3 ), ie start play \ pause and volume up while harnessing the line-out.

- Will support the CUE , and the ability to automatically change the folder.

- Will be able to work with files of the player forces (deleting, moving, formatting of a card and so forth)

- Wide language support (up to the Spanish \ Polish and Indonesian locations is implied)

Judging by the renderer is an optical output SPDIF

SPDIF output would be awesome.

If that thing isn't a photoshop creation then that would be awesome.

Xduoo cue sheet support is A+ in my opinion so glad to see that's staying, I use the stock firmware's Cue sheet function all the time to play albums I have ripped as one big wav + a cue file.

HI, new to this forum and to the XDuoo X3.  I managed to put rockbox on it without any problems.  I need to make a playlist for a party ie a list of songs that will play in the set order I choose. I'm really struggling with this, have searched both this and the rockbox forum, the rockbox instructions but I'm just getting more confused.  Can anyone help with step-by-step idiot proof instructions. Any help much appreciated.  My music is saved in seperate artist/album folders, don't know if this makes a difference.

If you've had no problems installing rockbox (if it boots and doesn't crash then it works) I highly suggest reading the Sansa Clip rockbox manual.

The interface and available buttons will all be the same. just obviously in different locations.

Screen size is nearly identical so layout will be the same.

Still proudly using latest stock FW and more interested in hacking that than waiting on more rockbox action  and I don't need any features stock FW doesn't have... TBH got plenty of rockbox players with fully finished ports...

Hi, thanks for your post.  Yes, the player is working fine in both rockbox and original firmware mode.  I have read the rockbox manual but still can't work out how to save a playlist (talk about comlex!!).  As I mentioned what I need to do is to save a list of songs in a set order to play at a party.
Thanks

Why don't you just make the playlist in the foobar2000? X3 doesn't support external playlist?

I use this method always. It can play from both the cards, if the songs are spread over both the cards. However mine doesn't work perfectly(my rockbox crashes a lot) and always ended up playing only few songs out of a longer playlist. (If there are 20 songs, mine plays only 10 and keeps looping). But since others do not have any issues with rockbox, I think this should work. go to foobar , add a new playlist when the xduoo is connected to the pc from the songs from its own memory card. Save the playlist in the memory card as m3u. It will work

How about .m3u8? I have Fiio X1 and it doesn't have problem with longer external playlist. I make 318 song in a single playlist. What is the difference between .m3u8 and .m3u anyway?
