I had the SE846 and to be honest I sold it quicker than any other hp or IEM I have ever had.

OK....my Silver Dragon balanced cable just arrived....initial impressions are very positive. Balanced mode with the PONO player is a jaw drop thus far. I don't really buy into the silver cable theory but the balanced mode is rocking.

Really interested in your thoughts as I need a balanced cable for Pono with my Oppo PM3 and potentially the s-em6, and I'm debating Black or Silver Dragons (not having had a chance to audition either cable)

I screwed up flink...I used the X5 in headphone out. Line out was pretty good on the X5 as well though

  So I can't compare.

I can honestly say that my case was fine. How scuffed/worn out are we talking? Would anybody else like to confirm, would hate to think they supplied you with a returned product :frowning2:

Just two scrapes.

The box was sealed in that wrap so I don't think it was opened.

Watched an unboxing video and theirs was scraped too.

The thing to change the signature on one of my IEM's is also broken. Very upset. Bought these from an authorized dealer too. Contacted him. Will let you guys know what he responds.

No marks..I have yet to change the signatures. I was going to try to find a plastic or nylon type of screwdriver to do that....metal vs. plastic doesn't sound like a good idea. I have read others say they are easier to turn after the initial turning...is that true?

Reseller refuses to accept a return and wants me to pay for shipping and time I lose to France for a repair. What a joke. Made a dispute.

Does that seem fair to you guys? Having to pay shipping for damaged goods and not even for a return, but for a repair on brand new IEM's. Hilarious.
