So far - unobtanium (I would provide my Odins for guests from abroad for listening session. In Moscow)

For most people, the K. Odin will remain a headphone "unobtanium" (inaccessible).
Not because of its price (certainly expensive, but in my opinion justified), but because its current availability and its erratic distribution worldwide "in dribs and drabs" are currently problematic.

Pity, because it is truly a nugget. It is a very impressive headphone that surpasses without any difficulty (except very specific point) the HD-800, the HE-6 (according dub), and the LCD3-F (for me). The HE-1000 is also in the crosshairs of this headphone, and perhaps also the LCD4, but no direct comparison made hitherto for the latter headphone.

I very much hope that Kennerton, in the coming months, will improve its production delays and expand distribution worldwide of this headphone, which in the price category which is hers: 1500 to 4000 Dollars, seems very well placed.

Are they planing to arrange a loaner program in Canada?

Nope, they don't have that in plans. Some Canadian reseller ordered pair (or a few), but they tried to disassemble headphones and damaged driver. They've sent that pair to warranty service, but Kennerton refused, as they've violated warranty conditions. Since that, there is no activity in Canada

Thank you. I have one question.

For the owners of the 1st batch, would the 'upgrade' option to the new driver be available? It might be for a certain fee and we may or may not want to do the upgrade, but at least we know if we have options.

They don't plan any upgrade, as all changes impacts durability, not sound. If your headphones are OK, you don't need this upgrade, if they'll brake during warranty period, they will be fixed and upgraded. Also, there is high probability that your headphones' driver is OK, as a problem had limited impact and not all first batch headphones are affected.

This is so stupid of resellers to do something like that! Why would they?!!!!!

Hi all,

For the "small heads" and/or sensitive (at the level of the scalp), it is quite possible to make, with the help of a shoemaker, for about 40 Euros, a headband of suspension considerably more comfortable than the original, of the Odin (because thicker, quilted (padded)) and especially more suited to the physiognomy of small heads (it is shorter, so with a lower height).

Here are some photos of the headband in question; its owner (Keke on HCFR) is very proud, quite rightly!; several French owners of the K. Odin have ordered this headband, with this shoemaker (dub, Cladane, Lagoduche...). Cherry on the cake, you can also choose the colour of the leather (brown, black...).

brown version Vs Original of the suspension headband of the K. Odin

black version of the suspension headband

Keke's version of the K. odin

dub's version

and my "secret" version (for my big head), currently under evaluation, very comfortable with its added padding, more economy, but surely less esthetical. (see below)

Wow. That's really interesting. The almost smallest position for the Odin (sliders almost all-the-way-in) fits my head nicely, but having options is always nice.

Kinda interested in the black one. Is international shipping available?

Hi there,

Just ordered the Litz cable for my ODIN (Vectura C) to C&H as advised by the International ODIN expert @Eric65 for its sound improvements.
