Never 2 without 3 !

Not very reasonable (although it may also be a financial investment for a collector) ...

A Kennerton Odin with cups wood in Bog Oak.

Nice !

Well, you know .... I can justify collecting "few of a kind" items from time to time.

It has a bit of story to it though. If you remember when I was ordering my 2nd Odin in Amaranth, I was told to pick a new wood for it as Kennerton might not able to do the Amaranth wood with their new cup producing process .... so I went for the "Old Wood".

However, it turned out that Kennerton was able to make the Amaranth version after all ... not only that but also they made another pair in "Old Wood finish". But it's NOT the Odin Old Wood we know of ...

Instead, it was a Sipo Wood (Utile wood) in Old-Wood finish. So I had 2 more pairs at that point (well, I can choose not to buy it since I ordered only one pair ... but since it's specially made-version .... so why not .. I just have to find a way to finance it).

It looks a bit too similar to the Mk1 Sapele ... but well, it was OK. I liked it enough for it subtle differences. (See photo, left Mk2 Sipo Old Wood, and right Mk1 Sapele).

The problem was .... the right side driver had rattling problem at low frequency. So I had to sent it back to Kennerton for service (driver replacement). I was told that it would take about 2 months.

After thinking a while, I inquired Kennerton about changing the cup to other woods. I like my Magister's Bog Oak wood quite a bit, and was told by Kennerton that supply could be running short in some times. So I changed it to the Bog Oak.

Just got it back yesterday .... after 2 months of waiting.

Chance sometimes does things well; It was your destiny!

Anyway, you now have three Odin, strong different from each other for aesthetics and especially their stories (very interesting to know).

Congratulations.

PS: you will now be able to listen to the music at three (with three Odin!): your wife, your daughter and yourself!

Hello everyone.

My son, 8 years old in this photo (He is now 11 years old) is a serial killer on Minecraft and he is not cold in the eyes: he goes very fast (staight ahead) and he kills into his games (virtually); He is currently ranked 50th out of 100,000 in his guild of killers of cubic cubs ...

But that's not what I'm talking about.

As everyone knows, the truth comes from the mouths of children.

I showed him my two Odin headphones.
He told me: "at what they serve ?"
I replied "to listen to music with two person" (rarely in fact)
He replied: "my Razer headphones is better: it is 7.1!"
QED !

Hi.

Headband Kékénnerton V2 (MK2) : Larger, softer, padded (thicker) really effective* !
*(To better distribute the pressure of the weight of the Odin headphone on the top of the skull)

Note: Kennerton could be inspired by this Kékénnerton mk2 headband, after he was already inspired by the version 1 of the Kékénnerton!
