Now i need to work on the cable, any suggestions are welcome?

Here is an update of progress.
These just have some sanding sealer so far.
I'll get the finish on this week and they will be ready to go.

This post belongs in a post your mods thread, I don't see what your post has to do with the SennGrado tour.

Well gentlemen, the tour SennGrados have made it safely back to their place of origin which means that for now, the tour is over.

Thanks to all the participants, DIYers, and commentators who made this whole thing possible.

If there are any more comments to be made about the tour, do so here, but if you've got questions or comments in general about this most excellent headphone, I suggest posting in the appreciation thread so we can consolidate.

Once again, thanks everyone for your contributions!

Very cool!!  Glad you were able to get em' back.  Thanks to all members who contributed.  I really enjoy these cans.

If theres a tour #2, I wouldn't mind contributing.  With my SG build I have taken a lot of steps to help damp earcup resonance and vibration, using the stock SR60i earcups.  It would be interesting to compare wood-resonant build with my mine.  I would suspect my sample is more "dry" and less energetic.  I have always thought it sounded like a bass heavy / darker MS2.
